The staff were helpful. The room had poor shower pressure, making it less enjoyable.

The location is good if you make a stopover and the staff was generally friendly.

we had chosen a hotel with a restaurant, so if there is a private party there, as in our case, you should at least tell the guest about it, so we came to the hotel at 9pm, tired and hungry, and got nothing! The breakfast was ok, but without the slightest service, because I expect a little more in the 4 star hotel.

The separate toilet is much too narrow, even for tall and slim people.

Traditional charm. My stay in the Superior Double room was pleasant, highlighted by the cleanliness and spaciousness. I did face some issues with the key card on check-in and a towel replacement oversight .

The hotel was quite good as location near the central square of the town (Bellecour), every saturday there is a market in the road infront of the hotel with antiques! The privilege room was good and clean and the bed comfortable.

The breakfast was good but a bit expensive for what was offering. The staff was polite and english speaking which is a big issue for Lyon! But the internet connection during the hole weekend was off!!!

We liked the location and the room in the back building very much. That was our second time at Charlemagne. Our room (superior) was spacious, quiet and, apart from the dust in the corners, clean. The bed was comfortable but too soft. Worn out? We felt comfortable and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We would like to come back to Lyon and Charlemagne!

This hotel is a 3 stars hotel, but in my opinion it was more than 3 stars'...My husband and I stayed there for one night, we had a Privilege Double Room... the room had enough space + terrace...it was clean, very quite and it had a good air conditioning inside the room... ( there was no mini bar)

I dont like the service of internet.. instable and sometimes bad.

The staff were friendly and helpful. I also loved the complimentary sparkling water taps throughout the hotel. My room was spacious and modern, with a lovely view of a peaceful square.

location: it's very central but you need to cross the nearby railway station to get to the first metro station (anyway we didn't experience any problem until midnight)

Met well-trained and competent staff from a friendly manager and his staff. The superior king room was nicely decorated with a shower, so that guests had essentials.
